SHORT FORM VIDEO FRAMEWORK:

THE PERFECT 60 SECOND WEBINAR FORMAT

I started putting out 1 video EVERY day back in early December.  Unfortunately I did stop this for a short time due to having to focus my attention elsewhere.  I’m now back and hindsight I could easily have just reposted a historical video every day,  I would have taken minutes,  I have severely reprimanded myself!

The videos are uploaded to TikTok and are also shared with a program called Repurpose,  Its a fairly large yearly subscription and I’m looking at alternatives.  So the videos are repeated to YouTube shorts, Instagram Reels, Twitter/X, and Facebook so every week I’ve got 35 videos out.

I have outlined the framework I follow for creating the videos below.

1 THE HOOK

The hook is the critical first impression of your video. It’s essential for capturing the viewer’s attention and ensuring they stay engaged. A compelling hook convinces your audience to stop scrolling and focus on your message. Instead of diving straight into the content, start with something intriguing or thought-provoking.

Examples:

“The Number 1 secret to ______ is _______ …”

“Here’s how to _________ …”

“Struggling with ______? This might be why…”

“How to _____ without _______”

“This might ruffle some feathers, but…”

“Everything you thought about _______ is wrong”

“Top 3 tips for __________”

“One simple hack to ________”

“Avoid this common mistake in _________”

“The ultimate secret to __________”

2 THE STORY

This segment is where you share the context or background of your topic. The story element connects emotionally with the viewer and illustrates why the topic matters to them. People are naturally drawn to stories, and once they’re engaged in one, they’re likely to stay for the conclusion. Use this part to establish a connection and deepen the viewer’s interest.

Examples:

“So a few weeks ago… [Tell the story of how you learned it.]”

“Too many people do _____ when they should do _______. [Give the context of what most people are doing wrong and what they should be doing instead].”

“In the Book _____ by _____, it says …. [Share a quote from a book].”

“People always ask me…. [Answer a question that you get asked a lot.]”

“So I know this might sound crazy but…. [Tackle a false belief you know they’ll have about your content].”

3 THE SECRETS OR TIPS

Here, your goal is to educate your audience with concise and valuable information. Offer them clear, actionable insights, but focus on the ‘what’ rather than the ‘how.’ These tips should be insightful, easy to understand, and relevant to the viewer’s interests or needs.

[First Secret/Tip]

[Second Secret/Tip]

[Third Secret/Tip]

4 THE OFFER OR CALL-TO-ACTION (CTA)

Finish your video with a strong CTA, guiding your viewers to the next step. Whether it’s following your page for more content, clicking a link, or engaging with your social media platform, make sure your CTA is clear and relevant to the content presented.

Examples:

“If you’re a [audience], and you want to achieve [result], make sure to…”

“Follow for more insights like this.”

“Click the link in my bio for exclusive access.”

“Visit stevemoore34.com for more on this topic.”

“Comment ____ below, and I’ll send you additional details.”

“DM me if you’re interested in learning more about _______.”.

I’m so much more familiar with voice-over work and recording THAT type of recording! This will definitely come handy – I decided to jump into the Tik Tok world!
