I've just posted a video to YouTube  about my recent jpurney along the road to affiliate marketing mastery.  You can see a copy of it below and if you'd rather than watch.  (its a tidied up copy of the transcript.

The “Tidied Up” Transcript

Hello there, Steve Moore here. I apologize for my absence from this YouTube channel recently. I’ve been heavily involved in other projects and time has simply flown by.

But I’m back now, and I plan to be here at least once a week with updates, at the very least. So, what have I been up to lately? One major focus has been improving my email writing. I’ve been analysing various emails from different sources and writing at least one email daily.

It’s starting to pay off, I believe. Just last week, my open rates soared to over 40%, a significant improvement from the 10% I was struggling with a few months ago. In fact, just yesterday, I achieved my best day ever with an open rate of 63.6%. I’m quite proud of that. It’s important to note that this email wasn’t promotional; it was merely to inform about a new blog post.

This success reassures me that I have a well-engaged list of subscribers. Achieving such a high open rate certainly doesn’t hurt. I’m hopeful this trend continues, proving that persistence and consistency really do yield results. It’s a hot day here in England, perfect for gardening, so it’s likely you’ll hear some background noise from neighbours trimming hedges or the like.

Additionally, I’ve been busy crafting ideas for a new funnel. I’m developing a five-day challenge that introduces what I call the ‘affiliate marketing core engine’—all at a very low cost. This new strategy is almost ready for launch.

My strategy is to introduce low-ticket items at the entry level of my funnel and then escalate to higher-priced products, aiming for a self-liquidating funnel that covers its own advertising costs.

Speaking of advertising, I encountered a significant hiccup last week with my Facebook ad. It’s been running with the same creatives for about six months, but I had to change one due to a spelling error after a viewer pointed it out. This adjustment unfortunately led to a drop in lead generation from an average of 7-8 leads per day to just two per day. It was a setback, but a learning experience—I won’t make that mistake again.

In another development, I’ve had to discontinue one of my programs. It didn’t make sense to keep it any longer, despite the different trainings it offered. I’ve now consolidated my tools and am focusing on promoting Rethink Rocket Fuel. Although I have a GoHigherLevel account, I’m not currently using it to its full potential.

For those interested, Rethink Rocket Fuel also features a robust social planner tool, which I use to schedule my social media posts for the week across five platforms every Sunday. You can find more details in a recent video on this channel.

That’s about it for this week. I’ll keep aiming to update you weekly, and just as I say this, I hear thunder, so I better head inside before it starts raining.
